Rebecca Hickom is a twelve year veteran of homeless services and currently works at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs as the Coordinated Entry System Coordinator for the Balance of State Continuum of Care. In her role she created a strategic framework for the planning and implementation of a coordinated entry system that covers 152 counties. A graduate of Georgia State University, Rebecca has worked within both rural and urban communities in her previous roles in Transitional Housing, Rapid Rehousing, Homeless Prevention, Harm Reduction, and Permanent Supportive Housing. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her 6-year-old German Shepherd, Moses, and enjoys exploring Atlanta, hiking, baking and visiting breweries.
