Marina Flores is a third generation Angelino who carries a deep love for her native city. She thrills at system building, and any efforts that make a more fair, accessible, and expedient system for those experiencing homelessness. Marina currently puts this drive to work in her position as Senior Manager over the Adult Coordinated Entry System at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA). In this role, she integrates new resources into the system, oversees resource referral and matching for all populations, works to streamline the housing process, and supports the implementation of CES policies and procedures across the County. Marina has worked at LAHSA for three years and on the development CES in Los Angeles for five. She has over 11 years of experience in homeless services overall, including running rapid re-housing programs, building street-based outreach teams, and launching a homeless coalition. Marina has a Bachelor in Sociology and a Master in Social Work, both from the University of Southern California.
