Christina joined the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee in May of 2015. She works on housing and homelessness issues related to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness. Prior to joining the staff of the Appropriations Committee, Christina worked at HUD in the Offices of Field Policy and Management in Chicago, IL, and the Chief Financial Officer’s Office of Budget in Washington, DC. Before her Federal service, Christina worked for the University of Michigan’s Technical Assistance Center, providing capacity building support and technical assistance to philanthropic and non-profit organizations that were seeking out or participating in neighborhood or regional transformation initiatives in Detroit, MI and throughout Mississippi. Christina holds an M.S.W., with a concentration in Management of Human Services and Social Policy Evaluation from the University of Michigan.
